Hope Simpson, and Lord Winterton, 1938-1954; as Personal Representative of the President of the United States to Pope Pius XII, 1940-1950; as Trustee of the Foreign Service Educational Foundation's School of Advanced International Studies, 1943-1948; as founder and associate of American Relief for Italy, Inc., 1944-1953, which concerns relief programs in Italy and the financial activities of the organization. Also, Taylor's speeches and addresses, 1928-1954, and condolence messages received at the time of Franklin D. Roosevelt's death, 1945.

After receiving his law degree from Cornell University, Myron Charles Taylor (1874-1959) worked primarily in the corporate law sphere, starting in the textile and banking industries in New York City. He later became Chairman of the United States Steel Corporation. He was also a Vice Chairman of the international Intergovernmental Committee on Political Refugees. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born on January 30, 1882, in Hyde Park, New York. He was the son of James (lawyer, financier) and Sara (Delano) Roosevelt. He married Anna Eleanor Roosevelt on March 17, 1905, and had six children: Anna, James, Franklin, Elliott, Franklin Jr., John. He received his B.A. from Harvard in 1904 and later attended Columbia University Law School.
